Blow Off Valve Type H 2003+ Dodge S RT - 4
This document is to be used as a guide for the installation of a TurboXS Blow - Off Valve Type H to a 2003+ Dodge S RT - 4.  Installation time is approximately 1.5 hours.

Installation Guide Blow - Off Valve

1. From underneath the car, locate the charge pipe that connects the turbocharger to the intercooler.  This is on the passenger side of the vehicle (Figure 2).

2.   Locate the factory rubber coupler that connects the charge pipe to the intercooler.  Take note where this needs to be cut and remove the rubber coupler (Figure 2).

3.     Cut out a 1” section of the rubber coupler (Figure 2).4.      Press the S RT - 4 BOV A dapter into the base of the BOV - H.  Use the included hex key and a 7mm wrench to tighten all three (3) set - screws on the valve to secure it to the flange (Figure 3).

5.     Insert the supplied 6mm silicon hose to 6mm hose connector on top of the TurboXS BOV - H.  Secure this with a supplied zip tie.

6.      Insert BOV and adaptor assembly into the rubber coupler and secure with provided hose clamps and reinstall onto charge pipe and intercooler (Figure2). 

7.      Check that the BOV - H and hoses are correctly located and secured so that no parts are rubbing the fan blades. Inspect the operation of the Blow - Off Valve and adjust as per the TurboXS BOV - H Installation Guide that came with the valve.  We recommend 4 - 6 shims on the S RT - 4. 

8.      Install the 6mm Silicon hose from BOV - H nipple (Instruction 5) to intake manifold using the supplied “Y” fitting and hose (Figure 5) by:  Removing hose that is secured to the factory “T” fitting and attaching the TurboXS “Y” fitting here.  One end of the “Y” fitting is attached to the factory hose you just removed and the other goes to the 6mm silicon hose that is attached to the TurboXS BOV - H.  Secure all fittings with zip ties.

  1. Install the provided TurboXS Check Valve.  Locate the factory bypass valve located on the turbocharger  which has the "pink" line  connected to it.  Unplug the "pink" hose from the factory bypass valve and insert the end of the TurboXS check valve with the "<"  into the "pink" hose.  Attach the other end of the check valve onto the factory bypass valve.

10.    Check that all components are correctly located and secured and check that no parts are rubbing or hitting any other parts due to engine movement.   Inspect the operation of the Blow - Off Valve again and adjust if necessary as per the TurboXS BOV - H Installation Guide that came with the valve.  We recommend 4 - 6 shims on the SRT-4
