Version EVO8 1.3 to 1.7 Update Information
VERY IMPORTANT
Save your maps and parameters BEFORE loading the new version of
software, in the event you may want to revert to a previous software
version. DO NOT USE PREVIOUS SOFTWARE BASE MAPS WITH VER. 1.7.
Make a note of your Parameter changes so that you can reset these after you
have loaded your software upgrade. Due to a change in the Parameter Maps do
not download your old Parameter Map, enter any Parameter Map changes
manually.
SPECIAL WARNING
The use of Launch Control WILL cause abnormal loads on your engine, exhaust
system, O2 sensors, catalytic converters, clutch, gearbox and drivetrain.
The use of ignition cut Launch Control WILL place abnormal loads to your
valvetrain, turbocharger and exhaust system. The use of Launch Control is
entirely optional and the user must be aware of the potential damage it can
cause.
This version of software will allow you to increase the RPM limit of your
engine. Increasing the RPM limit of your engine WILL place abnormal loads
on your mechanics of your engine and can lead to catastrophic failure of
your engine. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you do not increase your
engine RPM limit.
Recheck AFR values or retune your car if you transfer maps from earlier
versions of UTEC software.
Software Changes
This software release is Version EVO8 1.7 (EVOUTEC_1.7.mot).
The changes to the software include the following;
- Fix of injector 100% duty cycle glitch.
- Fix of MAP Calibration glitch.
- Utec to Ecu timing and vice versa interpolation.
- Open Loop Fuelling
